Oddly enough it took a while for me to find someone who got affected by Cryptolocker of some sort...otherwise I have never seen it before... A friend's mom contracted it somehow.

Sigh...hate it when people try to profit from ransom.

EVIL MUST BURN IN HELL! xD

I haven't heard about this at all, and I haven't gotten any spam emails for it.
I'm pretty good about where I submit my email. (Doesn't mean I can't get spammed though!)

I also use Norton, which is paid.
Never had a problem with Norton, been using it for like 4 years, and we also use it here on other computers and have had no problems as well.
lol, doesn't mean it can't happen, but still...
