    My new old laptop

    Just bought a Compaq Evo N610c off Ebay. It will be a while before I get it, but I was wondering if anyone has used one of these.

    I think it uses an Ati Mobility Radeon 7500 video chipset, but since I've only ever used nVidia, I was wondering how good it would be for basic 3D apps like SketchUp or Quake 3.

    It has a 1.8Ghz P4-M CPU and 512MB ram, but needs a new battery. I decided the buy it now of $200 seemed reasonable enough, but I hope I didn't buy a piece of crap. Though I guess anything is better than my Pentium 166 laptop
