      May I ask why you like the 17" screen laptops? I've always found them too big to be at least somewhat portable. Another thing that would concern me is the reliability of the hinges in the long run, since those displays are heavy.

      As long as the Dell doesn't have 1366x768 junk by default.

        My 17 is 1920x1200, 16:10 A/R, and its gorgeous. Mobile workstation = not a netbook!!! Bring on the 17" display!

          It looks alright, actually. It even has a 3-button trackpoint!

          No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

            That's a nice machine... I especially like the full keyboard.

              I think it does.
              15.6-inch UltraSharp display available in HD or FHD (1920 x 1080);
              I think HD is 1366x768.

              At least it doesn't have that retarded keyboard layout where they put the arrow keys where the zero key should be.

                looks good... but I'm more of a 14" person. Nice and compact, but still has decent features.

                  1366x768 is horrible. Dell, why put that on a workstation? Puke!

                  This computer is not designed for grandma who can't see anything.
