    server compatibility

I have several different kind of os'es running in my lab and only room for one server.
I have several macs (1998 and earlier), pc's running xp and 98se, 95 and dos and to top the deal I have a monster silicon graphics personal iris 4D/20 running irix 5.3. I was thinking using ubuntu with a pentuim pro but I don't know if every computer can work with that. What would you recommend?

      Re: server compatibility

For file sharing, Samba will work with DOS/Windows clients. IRIX might work with NFS.
