• Hello leo037,
Many thanks for your response, I am unable to program right now because of damaged probe. Deslodering is the last way to program something. Ordering a new probe. I'll be back. Once more thanks for now!

Hi Peste,
Thanks, but no success. The prompt for pass remains the same. So clearing the part of starting with "NvramActiveRegn." (GD125B127D) was not helpful.

So I flashed back original (locked) dumps. Laptop works untouched, as arrived - asking for password. This means, that reading/flashing (with reduced clk) IN PLACE must be 100% OK.

Maybe Im missing something.
Please see attached image and explain, if possible.
There are two chips, both 128Mb (16MB)

Many thanks for your great work and info. Yes I have readed and also programmed both chips in place.
May I ask a question?
I have T56 and I lowered the clk speed to 5 MHz. The chip (both) powering resistance is bigger than 15 kOhms.
I readed both chips TWICE and checked for differences (HEX, CRC). Both saved dumps for both chips were OK. No differences. Is it possible to read twice in place with IDENTICAL errors?
If is this possible, it menas, that also the second chip Winbond W25Q128JV was readed improperly and need fix....

• Re: Windows 2016 server L2TP/IPsec VPN - two subnets

I have just one recommendation.
If not necessary, avoid using IP v6.
Are you running RRAS (VPN) on DC? If so, sorry, there is NO solution.
I asked many networking specialists, all of them said the same: separate box for RRAS is the only option.
Im currently running RRAS (about 10 days) at a box with SQL server/terminal server (serves RD apps to the 2nd subnet) and all is running like a charm.
Also routing to the 2nd subnet is working OK (static routes).
But:
Maybe, setting...

• Re: Windows 2016 server L2TP/IPsec VPN - two subnets

I found the solution.
Never run VPN at the DC (messes up the DC entries) or TS server (not recommended, but feasible). Thats all.
Always choose another box.

• Windows 2016 server L2TP/IPsec VPN - two subnets

Hello, please how to properly configure VPN in this environment?
I have two subnets in two different (geographical) workplaces, connected via IPsec (thru gateway routers)
Main subnet: 192.168.11.0/24, gateway (router IP) 192.168.11.1, Windows 2016 server (VPN, DHCP, DC etc.) 192.168.11.3
2nd subnet : 192.168.22.0/24, gateway (router IP) 192.168.22.1 - just client computers.

I need to allow external (home office) users connect via VPN server (192.168.11.3) to the 2nd subnet (192.168.22.0/24) to their computers (via RDP).
I have no problems with VPN connection...

Dear hoaca388,
Many thanks for your great help.
The damage, I made, is fixed now.
I have confirmed, that the "ripped of" resistor is a "jumper" with zero resistance.
It is replaced by "wire jumper".
Your BIOS seems to be the right one.Re: ASUS Zenbook 14 UM425IA BIOS dump

Measured the rest "in place" looks like they are zero ohms... But it is not possibly true....

Hello, it looks like my own fault. I ripped of a few components, apparently resistores, with tweezers... Im an idiot. This is a relatively new laptop, so I must wait a time for some malfuncted motherboard to solve this problem. I have no schema.
I have an old tweezers with a very strong spring, which does not hold in a place... I must buy a new one....

Hello, just the fan at full speed Thanks for your work. I did not noticed, you sent UX425IA (this is Intel). This is wrong. My laptop is UM425IA (AMD). I have bad feelings, that it is gone now......
