    Dead as in main computer yeah, but I have two 478 systems I use daily One for a HTPC and one for my Linux router. They're perfect for those small jobs and I got them for free so why not

      i have 2 478s in service

      one is my mom's, the other is a basement box.

            the LGA775 is in my new Cooler Master 430 Elite case; it's almost never used, lol. The other, a P4HT 2.8, in a Dell Dimension 4600 case, is a Minecraft server for a friend and Uniprocessor Folding@Home
