    Firefox Security Vulnerability

I know that several people on this forum use the Firefox browser, and wanted to make sure you were aware of this:

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/pcworld/2005...pcworld/123878

If this is "old news" to you, my apologies, but it might not be to everyone.

      Re: Firefox Security Vulnerability

I just followed a link to the IE JavaScript bug proof of concept code, and my free AniVir antivirus would not let the malicious code run on my pc. Yeah for free antivirus programs!!!!!!

I always run with all scripting enabled also!

            http://www.free-av.com/

thanks for the tip. i will test it. 20 euro for the paid version and 5 goes to charity is a nice deal. lol Tjark looks like God......

avg-free is popping up occasionally to agree to update and disturbs some users. lots of clicking. interface is ugly also. avg has good market share now i think. many people will exit from symantec/mcaffee the latest versions have many issues, some of which i find unacceptable.
