    radeon 9800 pro help kinda

hey guys I need a second thought on this I have a PC setting here I am working on for a customer that is running windows 7 and had the generic WDDM driver installed for the 9800 pro well they were having playback issues so I went to install the ATI 9800 drivers from ATI.com now as soon as windows loads all that is on the screen is garbage if I bring up the system with vnc the screen is fine in the viewer if i boot to safe mode and uninstall the driver it boots back up fine in normol mode. I am hoping someone here has an idea as I hate telling folks they need new hardware.

    Thanks,
    yonu

There are no ATI-supplied Windows 7 drivers for your card.

    32 or 64 bit?

Get to archive section and use older drivers.
Catalyst 9.1 might be worth a try.

Suggestion to run the install in compatibility mode.

Do some Googling on: radeon 9800 windows 7 issues

    http://www.omegadrivers.net/

Keep an eye on this site. He does a nice package and I've used his stuff on and off for years. My game rig only worked correctly on his drivers.
