    Capacitor Bungs

    Can any one provide specifications and drawings for capacitor bungs including the manufacturing process know how?

    Why? Do you plan on manufacturing caps? I have never had to replace just a bung on a cap. If the bung is hosed its because the cap is hosed, or it was damaged during a install.

      Simple molded rubber nothing very complex about them.

      The good cap manufactures do more than the cheap flat rubber plug or bullyeye pattern though. If you look at a good caps bung you'll see what I mean. This is so during defluxing and board washing the chemicals don't get trapped under the caps.
      Elements of the past and the future combining to make something not quite as good as either.
