    Welcome to the forums!

I recommend using Nippon Chemi-Con PSC (polymer) or Nichicon HZ, HM and HN. You should check the dates on the HM and HN Series units, because there were some bad batches in the past.
My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.

Rubycon MBZ would also be fine
I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

Re: Xfx 9800 Gt Bad Cap

I concur with japlytic. All FZ's are known bad caps.

The PSC caps can be procured from Digikey.com:

        470/16 - http://search.digikey.com/scripts/Dk...me=565-3234-ND
        1500/6.3 - http://search.digikey.com/scripts/Dk...me=565-3229-ND

The 1500's are due in on 3/12/2010.

Recommend staying with the polys due to heat considerations on video card.

As I am new in electronics, I want to ask that
Can I replace my capacitor with any capacitor which have 470µf and 16V and the other one with 1500µf and 6.3V

My video card temperature is very high and it is used more than 12 hours daily.
Will a high quality cap help me.? And how ?

                1 - yes
2 - Those answers have been given at least a hundred times on this board. I understand you are new but you really need to help your self to all this information.

I suggest a thorough review of the FAQ's then the "Identifying Bad Capacitors" topic. ( The main thread of this child thread )
                https://www.badcaps.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=10

Either that or replace them with what has been suggested.
