Advice on discontinued capacitors (Full specs included)

Basically got a Dell motherboard with bad caps. One is circled in yellow in the first pic. It is a Rubycon and the only one on the whole motherboard of that type. There is also a set of 4 caps circled in blue and red they are Nippon caps and the same. The ones in blue seem fine but the ones in red have the smallest of pinpricks of what appears to be a black spec dead centre. I would like to be cautious and replace all the caps. However, After finding their datasheets and looking them up I cant find any suppliers that sell them as they appear to be all out of production. From what I have read in the forums ultra low ESR caps have been replaced by polys (Not entirely sure what that means). I should mention that while I am an electrician and do use a soldering iron from time to time; electronics is not something I know too much about. I wouldnt know what I could replace them with that would be sufficient and what values I could accept at a higher/lower value. Below are the datasheet specs for both typoes of caps. Hoping someone could poihnt me to a range or type that would fit the bill.

Rubycon (Only 1 on the board)
    Capacitance: 1800μF
    Model/Range: MCZ
    Voltage: 6.3V
    Diameter: 8mm
    Length: 20mm
    Temp: -40 to 105 °C
    Tolerance: ±20% (20°C,120Hz)
    ESR(ΩMAX/20°C, 100kHz) : 0.012
    Rated Ripple Current (mA r.m.s./105°C, 100kHz): 2350

    Additional markings on Capacitor:
    T0646
    PET

Nippon Chemi-Con (4 in group, 2 look suspicious)
    Capacitance: 2200μF
    Model/Range: KZJ
    Voltage: 6.3V
    Diameter: 10mm
    Length: 20mm
    Temp: -40 to 105 °C
    ESR(ΩMAX/20°C, 100kHz) : 0.011
    Rated Ripple Current (mA r.m.s./105°C, 100kHz): 2920

    Additional markings on Capacitor:
    6(7)

    poly's = solid polymer electrolytics.
they have lower esr and higher current than the best liquid electrolytics.

and they are really your best and only option here, because as you said - all the really low esr caps (MBZ, MCZ, FL etc) are discontinued.

Well if picking out these new poly capcitors do I just need to match the voltages and capacitance values? Im just not sure what diffrent values of ESR or ripple current will do? Ive read that these are important in certain types of circuits

        diameter must match,
voltage should match if you dont know the actual voltage of the circuit,
capacitance should be kept close, but 1500 for the 1800 or 2000 for the 2200 should be fine.

this will do the KZJ's nicely.

Acer Ferrari F-20" monitor display interference and replacement capacitor selection
              by ADV
              Good day everybody

I hope I'm posting in the right section - I am new to this awesome forum.

I have received an ACER Ferrari F-20" LCD Monitor to repair.

It produces interference lines on the image displayed and slowly rotates across the whole screen, with respect to the center of the screen. One rotation takes about 4 minutes and the cycle repeats over and over.
For some reason the On Screen Display Menu is not affected when switched on with the Menu button.

I opened the external 18V power supply and see no bulged capacitors...

Dell Optiplex GX260 - Advice Needed for Polymodding Motherboard
              by SwedishDiesel
              Howdy folks,

I have an Optiplex GX260 that blew a couple of those troublesome Nichicon HM series (ultra low ESR) electrolytic capacitors. Because said caps are obsolete, they are pretty much impossible to find on the market; I did find a listing for some but I believe they are counterfeit. I feel the easiest thing to do would be to replace all the blown caps with polymer ones. I am by no means an expert in electronics, and I've found a fair bit of conflicting information, so any guidance or confirmation would be greatly appreciated. While from a practical standpoint it's not worth...

Alienware x15 R2 no memory detected (hell repair job, 6 months later)
              by jagiro84
              Hi guys,
its been around 5-6months since i left this board on side to rest my brain cells and now came back to try and repair it again.

The laptop in question has issue where it gives error code on power on which is 2red and 3 blue

In short, by Dell specs this means "Memory not detected: "

Now one important thing the laptop would turn on fine when i leave it in the refrigerator for 5-10min and i could work\play games with it for days and months as long as i dont turn it off
but after a while this trick stopped working as wel

Seeking Advice: Repairing Dell U3425WE Monitor with Faulty USB-C/Thunderbolt Ports
              by Borse2008
              Hi everyone,

Looking for some advice or opinions on what to do with a monitor issue I’ve run into. Apologies in advance is this crossovers a few forum categories.

I have a Dell U3425WE, which I've recently replaced with another model. That said, the original unit is still fully functional in terms of the display — it works perfectly over HDMI and DisplayPort. However, the USB-C and Thunderbolt 4 ports have stopped functioning correctly. The Issue:
              • The 90W Thunderbolt 4 port (circled in the photo) no longer charges or powers any device, including laptops or MacBooks.

              Mosfet Advice
              by Green Probe
Hi, Im looking to replace some EMP21N03 mosfets on an Alienware motherboard, but I'm having trouble finding a legit supplier. The ones that are available from China have pictures with the engraved logo looking very scratchy and sketchy. Nobody in the US sells them. I'm trying to find a compatible mosfet, but I'm not well versed enough to be confident im making the right choice. Does anyone have a suggestion or advice that could help me find the right mosfet? Thanks!
