    ESR Rubycon caps serie TXW and BXC: good or bad?

    Hi all,

    I have some rubycon caps (from a TX-P50VT30E SC board) and I have doubts about their ESR. I would like your feedback about it

    Its high voltage caps from TXW and BXC low ESR series, I can't find charts of typical values.

    I mesured all ESR:

    160v 130uF TXW serie:
    {ESR = 0.479 Ω}

    220v 130uF TXW serie:
    {ESR = 0.320 Ω}

    4* 250v 190uF BXC-P serie:
    {ESR = 0.216 Ω}
    {ESR = 0.179 Ω}
    {ESR = 0.221 Ω}
    {ESR = 0.219 Ω}

    I was expecting something about 0.05 Ω. Do you think I have to replace them?

    Thanks,

    Eric

    They are fine, higher voltage caps normally have higher ESR
