Vishay/BC capacitors - good or bad?

Was trying to figure out if this equipment is crap or not... (these are not my pictures just random ones on the internet)

they seem to be "Vishay/BC" they look like this same brand and type (link just for reference)

The black and gold capacitors could be Nichicon, one of the audio series (see bottom of the table) : http://www.nichicon.co.jp/english/pr...ini/index.html
If it's a high end audio equipment, those capacitors could also be Elna but I'm not sure they made capacitors in black/gold combo.

I'm not familiar with Vishay/BC but there are some guys here on the forum who can give you more info.

An amplifier like the Crown in the first picture would be worth refurbishing.

the BC caps are high quality and expensive.
but they arent suitable for high frequency's so you shouldnt find them in switching psu's
they are good in linear psu's with transformers & diodes though.

the ones on ebay are pull's btw - the leads arent clean.
