    How do you repair a loose wire, one is black and other is gold.
    of a ADSF filter. the one you plug into a telephone socket.

    I have one similar to the top one. Mine only goes up to 400c though. It does the job, but i don't do to much soldering.

      First and third are rebranded Atten soldering stations. They're OK, you can find tips cheaply on eBay, but they're not 60w (more like 45w) sothey need more time to reach desired temperatures compared to Hakko or other more professional brands

      The red one avoid, it's a glorified stick soldering iron, it doesn't have temperature control, just fixed power presets on that knob, so if you have the iron set at a low temperature and you happen to put the tip on something big that sucks heat away from tip, the iron won't react by pumping more power (therefore heat) into the iron.
      I think it's a China Zghondi (whatever way is spelled) soldering iron.
