With info found on this forum, I was able to repair my Samsung LCD TV Power Cycling, Screeching High Pitched Noise Buzzing and Bad Picture. Instant success - thanks!
The capacitors C102 and C131 were replaced at a local Make It Lab Hacker Night. My thanks to those folks! However, in the process of replacing C131, the capacitor C133 right next to C131 was knocked off. Even without C133 on the circuit board, the TV now works fine. Ditto for laptop, iPhone, DVD and VCR player hookup.
What does C133 do, and how important is it that I now replace it?
Thanks,
JD
