Can't find exact replacement cap! Help

    Hey guy,

I am new here but have learned alot from this forum already. I searched and searched looking for an answer to this but couldn't find anything. I have a motherboard out of an HP pavilion that has some bad caps. There are 11 total and they are all 1500uf 6.3v. The problem I have is I cannot find this cap anywhere. Its not the rating of the cap...but the size. They are approx. 8mm by 20mm. Now I have found plenty of 10mm replacements but these caps are very very close, right up against each other and 10mm won't cut it. I need an exact replacement. Also...does size matter? I've heard that diff sizes might use different fluid mixtures and might have different ripples or whatnot even though they are the exact same specs (1500uf, 6.3v). So if I find an 8mm cap that is 6.3 and 1500uf, does it matter if its not quite as tall?? Thanks guys

I can get 1500uF 10v 8mm caps directly from Rubycon. They are insanely expensive, so I use them conservatively... I have another order in for 1000 of them, they should arrive in a few weeks (customs from Japan ya know) If you haven't found them somewhere else by then, let me know.

Thanks man. Why are they so hard to find?? And what is insanely expensive? $1 a piece? or $3? I mean at $3 I am spending over $30 to get them all and a new MSI p4 board on 845 chipset is as cheap as $50 yano? Let me know price...Thanks
