    Who makes these capacitors?

    Hi all,

been googling all over the place trying to find out who makes any of these capacitors:

    P 112
    270
    16V

    R 1Z1
    820
    2.5V

    P191
    100
    16V

The photo is from a Sapphire Radeon 7750 Ultimate (passive cooled card)

I thought at first it might have been "nippon chemi con" NCC but having been to their site: http://www.chemi-con.co.jp/e/catalog/aluminum.html I wasn't able to find anything with a "P" or "R" product code.

I've also looked into "Man Yue" aka "X-CON" / Samxon as sapphire have a history of using them so I gather but again no luck there

    Anyone know the answer ?

Why do you need to know? - just replace them?
Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

I'd like to know where they are made (on a new unbroken card)

These look like polymer capacitors, so they should be fine.

As to the OP's question: I don't know. They do look indeed like Chemicons, but the lack of the shield logo means they probably aren't.

Sapphire support gave me this info, possible useful to anyone doing a google search:

          222-1821D-9300F 820uF C641,C642,C643,C644,C726,C925

I think from the product codes those are for "Kemet"

I doubt that, kemet doesn't really make through hole polymer capacitors as far as I'm aware.

Kemet is mostly doing ceramic and tantalum capacitors but they also have some electrolytic capacitors.

I think the code doesn't really mean anything, it's probably internal to Sapphire. 821 for example is just the short notation for capacitance, 82 x 10^1 = 820uF
