Help with Asus P4C800 Deluxe

Hi all
I have an Asus P4C800 Deluxe motherboard (Rev 1.04) that does not boot. The malfunction was caused by the silly mistake of inserting a 240-pin DIMM on one of its 184-pin sockets. As soon as it was powered on, a thick grey smoke (and corresponding smell) came out and no way it would boot again.
After a careful examination I discovered two burned small parts (sorry my ignorance about what they are). See image below (out of focus because I used my scanner instead of a camera).
I would be very grateful if someone would tell if the malfunction can be repaired and how?
I'm asking because these boards command outrageous high prices.

need a better pic.
i assume the burned parts are in the vdimm vrm.i dont have a p4c800 here to look at so a better pic is needed.

Fets for Vdimm. Wrong pins in the memory could have shorted voltage to ground or sent ? voltage where it didn't belong. I'm still lost when it comes to cross referencing mosfets, so maybe someone could find a suitable match. Check this link, maybe it will help, and hope the mem controller didn't go also.

Here's another photo. The board is a Asus P4C800 Deluxe, location just south of the memory slots. The two parts marked red are burned. The one marked yellow maybe burned too.
I sadly confess I am quite ignorant electronics-wise so if someone knows of a possible repair/solution I would be grateful if a sort of step-by-step guide could be provided.

Well, if you have a powerfull soldering iron and some skill... it should not too hard to replace those buggers. But i am not shure, if that is all, wich was dammaged. But it could be.

First you have to find replacement parts, thus you should google for a datasheet of the burned components. Then select one with similar ratings. This is probably the hardest part....
Considering your knowledge i would suggest to buy a new board, if you want to fix it in a timely maner and do not doing this for the fun of repairing....
