    Trying to eradicate 85°C caps

My Dell SX280 came from a hot environment and it's already an oven inside, so I want to replace the 85°C caps to avoid problems later on.

There's one tiny 16v 100uF that says 85°C on the side. Might be Rubycon, not sure. What should I replace this with?

While I'm at it, given the hot temps in the case, what do you recommend as replacements for the Nichicon VR(M) 16v 220uF caps rated at 85°C?

    Thanks!

For best responses to questions like this it's best to provide vendor, series, capacitance, voltage and size (D x L, in mm). 85C caps are usually general purpose, so you probably don't need to worry about exact matching of impedance and ripple current rating. Your second post mentions Nichicon's VR series; the corresponding 105C series from Nichicon is the VZ series. The 100uF VZ series part is 5mm x 11mm (UVZ1C101MDD); the 220uF VZ series part is 6.3mm x 11mm (UVZ1C221MED); the corresponding VR series parts are the same case sizes.

It's very rare they fail, but I have seen it happen. I always replace them with these when I do find them bad:
