This is one of those times when I wish I was better at reading schematics so I could just build one of those ESR meters.
Anyways, my TV has issues starting up and I decided to open it up before anything actually bursts. When I search for my tv [x32gv komodo] on ebay I see capacitor sets so I know some do fail.
Strangely enough all the capacitors on the power board look fine to me. Even the capxon capacitors look nice with a well defined X. None look bulged or leaking as I had been expecting.

I read about heat being one of the symptoms and if anything it would be the large 450v 180uf cap that feels a bit rounded and warm, the other two 35v 1500uf were also a bit warm but far from actually hot (can leave finger on it without discomfort).
I deviated from the power board to check the main board and did see some surface mount capacitors that looked suspicious to me. Is this normal?

I have 4 of them and they all look and feel slightly bulged and I have never seen surface mount caps with a defined cross on them like that.
