Does anyone here know a place to buy capacitors in Australia WITHOUT needing a credit card? The only places listed in the FAQ are RS and Farnell, both of which only do CC orders.
I'm going to be recapping a Soltek 75DRV5 and a Sun Ray 1, neither of which require massive amounts of capacitors, so if there's someone in Oz who has a small stash of caps around that's willing to sell let me know
75DRV5:
{} 6*2200uF, 6.3V
{} 2*1500uF, 16V
{} 1*1000uF, 6.3V
Sun Ray:
{} 1*3300uF, 10V
{} 3*1000uF, 10V
The only other option I've found is Jayar, but the only ones they're missing the 3300uF and the 150uF ones.

what did we say about hoarding too much stuff and depriving others of them?! *cough* socialism *cough* lol!
But today, I’m making an exception here. Why? No idea. Perhaps only because the repair details are still “fresh” in my head… which is ironic, given this is a 16 year old monitor that hardly anyone will care about today. It is new to me, though.
