There IS an nForce 8. We have a board with a GeForce 8100 onboard. Maybe it's for Europe and Asia only.

      There's also a 8200 IIRC.

I have heard of nForce 8100, 8200, and 8300 chipsets. They weren't manufactured for a very long time period. For some reason, everyone uses the old 6000 series chipsets today.

Hey everyone... I know this is an old thread, but thanks to Google, I found it.
I have to replace at least half a dozen of the KZGs and if that doesn't fix the issue, I will be attempting a reflow.
I have never done this before so I am a bit nervous. The more research I have done on it, the more I see people recommending oven preheat at 385ºF and 'bake' the mobo for 8 minutes.
Has anyone here successfully used this method?

ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z no POST
            by DrFalken
            Hi!
I have an ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z (part number C9M0BX123818) that powers on but does not POST (boardview attached)
The small debug display (2 x 7-segment LEDs) remains off.
RAM, CPU, VGA and PSU work fine on another motherboard.
I checked some voltages and it seems +1.1VNB is missing.
            I also replaced PCE503 and PCE500 (100uF 16V) because they were defective.
            What else can I check?
