New Lenovo Thinkpad E540 Battery Problem

So i just bought my Lenovo Thinkpad E540 Before one month and suddenly when i'm working on it it shutdown so i tried to repower it but it fail , So i connect the AC adapter and it worked but windows started i found that my battery have a charge of 70% and it's status is "Not Charging" So i tried to disconnect my Ac Adapter and it shutdown suddenly .
So in the end i want to know why my battery that's charged (i tested it's voltage and it was 11.5V) cannot power my laptop ???? (I do Not Try another Battery yet but i think the problem is not from my battery cause it's new)

and never say its new (6 months )
usually in europe warranty for a notebook its like this(IN CONTRACT)
1 or 2 years and 6 months for the battery .(they say BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE)

NO! 6 month is for capacity, but 1 year is for work

So there's no specific component which could be damaged ?

Open the notebook. Take the board out. Only connect the power button and install the battery.
There must be something like this 3.3v on a few pins and if the battery its ... Lets say 10.8v
On a pin there must be over 11v or near 12v to charge the battery.

If you trace down that pin you will find a Fet and usually the gate does NOT open the fet that result in not charging the batt. If you trace the gate with continuity set on DMM you will reach the charging IC

Do know i had the same problem a few weeks ago with a dv6 and c850 .

Only saw battery not installed or plug in and NOT charging.
After a while i found a good batt for both and now its charging.

Change battery first. NO Compatible CHINES CRAP

It's a good guide, but if you could put to me the Motherboard Diagram it's a good thing cause i could not found it!
