    please help identify part test/replacement

    im want to test this part, and replace it if it's bad.. it's off of "soyo topaz S" power supply,

    i have tested the pins, they are all open and show no resistance except for the side A, pins 1-4 and 2-5 both 0.3ohm
    sideA[123-45]
    sideB[1-23]

    I believe that is a transformer, but from what I can tell that might not be the problem with this particular power board. look herez

    also look and see if its main cap (the big one) is bulged. Its surrounded by one of the main heatsinks on that board and the heat usually seems to kill it

      yeah i already replaced the big cap, it was bulged, also replaced the fuze, it was burned out, but it keeps burning out my fuze every time i plug it in, i will try to find and test the diode, thank you

        i took out the zd1 diode, it measures 0.055nF, one way, and 19.35mohm one way, does this look ok?

            yup i read that thread, unfortunately it went nowhere, i keep trying to locate the faulty part but i don't have much electronics knowledge, but i know how to use a multimeter lol
