    A Friend Gave Me Some Of These Caps?

    Hello All,

    A friend of mine give me some of each of these capacitors. I'm not sure if they could be used in monitors or other computer related applications? I took pictures of each one. Please tell me if you think they might work or if you need dimensions or additional pictures etc.

    Good quality caps just not so great for Low ESR apps.

    Not Low ESR

    Just barely Low ESR - not as good [not as Low] as Panny FC

      YXB is a mystery series.
      Might be fake or a custom order cap.

        Hello To PCBONEZ & ALL,

        Great to know, was going to use today on a LCD monitor. I think my friend meant well. But I'll set them aside for now. I will go thru the regular channels.
        Digi-Key and other already tested merchants not fleabay or the Shack!

          I think YXB is just discontinued series. Either that, or custom order. I have seen them in some very old power supplies, though, including an old 75W AT PSU (Mitac SPU-75) for an old Pentium-based Compaq. The Mitac PSU is built and quite well and rated very honestly, so the Rubycons are most likely genuine.
          I also remember reading on some website some time ago that YXB is equivalent to YXA. So YXB is probably 105C general purpose cap.
