Re: g86-703-a2 pinout needed
on vga mxm you have 4 coil named L1 L2 L3 L4 ,first check if any of them is shorted.
L4 is for: FBVDDQ SWITCHER POWER SUPPLY
L1 L2 L3 are for NVVDD SWITCHER POWER SUPPLY
on fpa there are many pin to check:
i have a G86 schematic p419 (should be g86-630-a2)

Re: g86-703-a2 pinout needed
each bga start with a letter and number. fisrt ball is a1 , down there is b1, and so on. referring to your bga socket, i give you letter and number position of voltage and ground.
(because bga is desoldered you have to look at that location inverted.
like in the picture, but for bga they are inverted.http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_lAb8NkC80k...definition.jpg
example: A1 is upper right, a30 is upper left. looking at removed bga.Attached FilesLast edited by dellxps15; 05-20-2014, 03:52 AM.
