  • Weird Charging behavior Aspire A517-51G

Ok so, I've got a 17" Aspire 5, when I put it under any sort of medium high load it just stops charging and show blinks the status LEDs which I suppose mean it get's in power safety mode. Only notable things I can see being an issue are my CSME firmware which isn't the one from Acer because the Acer one was a vulnerable version relative to the current firmware I have installed (latest for KabyLake / KabyLake Refresh), the PC being only able to supply 0.05W to the battery on load spikes, and the slightly loose power inlet.

  • Lenovo G40-80 ACLU3 ACLU4 NM A362 not charging

    Hi, everyone.

I have this notebook that won't charge.
In Windows, the charger icon doesn't appear on the battery, but the charger turns on the notebook normally.

    PU301:

    Pin 5 (ACOK) - 5.97v
    Pin 6 (ACDET) - 1.83v (should have 2.6)
    Pin 16 (REGN) - 6v

PQ308 has no gate voltage, so it doesn't drive PQ309 low

With the battery connected, its voltage goes the reverse way to the jack, having 14v and not 20v:

    PQ301 e PQ302

    Pinos 1,2,3 14v

    Pino 4 5v

    Pinos 5,6,7,8 com 14v...

  • Does anyone know whether the Surface Book 1/2 G3HTA044H is compatible with the Surface Book 3?

    Hi All,

Title says it all. We've got two Surface Book 3 model 1900 that require battery replacements for both the screen and the keyboard base. The battery that came out of those tablets, which definitely are the originals, isG3HTA044H.

Though when I search for that model number every single listing has that listed as a surface book 1/2 tablet battery. And their batteries look physically different, they have two stacked vertically holes on both side of the battery pinout which mine does not have. Ifixit also states the surface book 3 uses a different battery than the...
