I am working on a hp elitedesk 800 g2 that has a short on the main rail as it draws current immediately its plugged in and burns up some resistors. I need help in identifying some transistors and or their values so i can replace them as i am troubleshooting and a capacitor near the SIO. I have attached the photos.. Please, I have an HP Elitedesk 800 G6 Mini Desktop with a BIOS issue. I get the Main + EC bin from another same model HP 800 G6 Mini unit, I modified the BIN files to unlock MPM, and flashed them to the issues system. However, it doesn't work properly.
After flashing the unlocked Main + EC to issue unit, everything seems to function normally until I perform a "Restore Factory Defaults" in the BIOS. After that, the system fails to POST; it powers on, but the screen remains black. (I also tried clearing the EC and flashing only the Main firmware, but the same issue ...

hi there..elitedesk 800 g1 sff working bios needed...i also checked hp site and extracted main rom from the file but it doesnt work...it seems its a general for this model but mine doesnt have any ati or nvidia gpu on board only intel...i also checked the 2 forums here that users shared bios files none of them worked too...mainboard had bad caps problems as usual and i replaced them all...same the psu...every thing is normal but i got no beeps..nothing at all only after few seconds fan spin higher...i think its corrupted bios may be the problem not super io...sadly dont have any cpu to replace...
