I've spent some time trying to figure out what is the correct pinout on the DC jack and it seems that the signal one you mentioned is the middle one - see the image attached. I've also measured the power adapter plug and it definitely gives 19V on the side inner connectors, but not on the center one. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to correct you, I'm just trying to make sure that I didn't blow up the EC by using defective power connector.

So I'd say that the expected measurements on power connector are as follow:
1 - GND
2 - APDIN - 19V here
3 - N21106349 - the...

ME is in the 8MB BIOS chip, use the 8MB file from post 7 (your BIOS version is H4CN27WW, the one in post 7 is H4CN28WW, should work), don't touch the 16MB

I've worked on the Intel version of this laptop (LA-L161P) so I'm assuming the failure mechanism is probably the same. Have you checked the DC jack for damage? Failure mechanism I've seen is collapse of the DC jack centre pins, shorting 19V to ADP_ID and destroying the EC in the process, as there is no protection for overvoltage on this line. Hopefully this is not the case, otherwise your new EC will also be dead.

The EC must be programmed and this can be extracted from the BIOS - it's 160kb on the Intel board, so I assume the AMD version is the same. Do you trust the seller has done...
