Thanks, I quite like the first one you linked for it's mat like finish.

The voltages are different now as the LED was removed but when I had tested the voltages earlier when I started troubleshooting and they were 3.3V but one was around 2V so it sounds correct, I'll purchase the LED and update the thread on how is goes :-)...

Hi, I couldn't find a category for desktops so I hope I am in the right section, sorry if not.

The front alien head RGB LED has an issue with the blue color, the red and green colors work but the blue is very dull which causes the color mixing not to show correctly such as purple showing as an orange/red color and light blue as green.

The issue occurs on Win7 and also on the fresh install of Win 10 so it shouldn't be software, bios has been updated from A00 to latest A12 with no difference.

I have checked voltages and when the LED is blue the blue voltage...

Measure the dimensions of the LED and the voltages to the pins as each of the colours needs a different voltage.

this seem to be an LED array. I am not an electronics technician, so I do not know about various kinds of LEDs. Take this LED to a local electronics shop and ask them whether they have got an equivalent LED. Probably, electronics shop owners know about various kinds of LEDs.
