I work in UK School so buying things from the likes of eBay is not allowed as it's in our internal financial regulations that we can't purchase things from there.
I've had a few USB-C ports that were damaged (2 were completely ripped off the motherboards) due to misuse from the 'little rascals' in our Schools. Fortunately I have some Spares and Repairs laptops that they had damaged/broken in other ways that I could salvage the ports from.
I was chatting with someone at Mouser and between us we were unable to find a correct replacement. I'm guessing they're not a generic thing then and specific to Acer or Lenovo for example - from the laptops that I have the ones from Acer Motherboards look (and function correctly) on a Lenovo for example which makes me think they can't be unique designs.
Mouser have asked me for a make/part number so they can see if they can get them or no so I was wondering if anyone knows this information?

The one on the left (with no pins) is the one that was ripped off of the motherboard and the one on the right is from a doner board.
