Also I used his own power adapter the same thing infact u used my own adapter on his laptop to charge my battery... -
Thanks, I will try and test the power adapter using multimeter, though before now my brother got the same lenovo so when mine didn't come up I used his own to charge my battery the battery is now 100% charged to ruled out issues of battery and charger....Leave a comment:

Hi good day please i have problem with my lenovo ideapad 3, when plugged in without battery the laptop doest come up, and when plugged in with battery the orange light stays steady and the battery will be discharging. Any help thanks
