Hello, I have a problem with my Lenovo ThinkPad E585 laptop (AMD Ryzen 5 2500U). I have a problem at this point in the manual:
STEP 4: Enter any character when asked for Supervisor Password
When I press F1, a screen is shown asking me to enter the password (on a black background, like a command line) but the keyboard stops working, no buttons on the keyboard work. I also tried to connect a USB keyboard - unfortunately the same thing happened. I tried to set my password. But when I do "Factory Default", the password I set doesn't work anymore. It seems that the laptop somehow remembers the old password and sets it again.

I need help with password reset on panasonic cf-54C. I tried to remove the password myself. But I couldn't do it (I can go into the BIOS and change the settings there, but after rebooting the laptop asks for the old password again). I've attached the bios dumps in the archive.
Please help me what am I doing wrong?

Hello everyone, can anyone tell me how to find the "build id" through the HEX editor?
I unpacked the .exe bios from the official Dell support site (using Dell Extract) and have two updates: Model=07A1 and 07CC. How can I find "07A1" or "07CC" in the bios dump using a HEX editor?
Unfortunately, I can't find it. There are no such inscriptions on the motherboard either.... -

I used a BIOS dump from another device (using clean ME region), it works fine.

But this "Orig+N85_0149+outimage.rar" is another bios dump (not original from my device)? You can see on screenshot how I did it. And why it doesn't work? On the other device, I also did as in the screenshot and everything works fine. Thank you.

Hello, I can't clear the BIOS password. After editing bios dump tablet write "authorization failed system locked" on screen. Helped the BIOS dump from another tablet.
But I didn't understand what I had done wrong. On another device, the password was deleted and it works fine.
