You should always make a backup of your original bios if you can as it will have your serial number and windows key.

Now tested. Many thanks, but no video. Maybe it is about the graphic. My UM425IA has integrated graphic, but UM425UA looks like it has dedicated one.
Returned back to the password locked bios...

So in the end, which model is your device? Post all stickers and QR codes available on mainboard here. Remember to include the original bios file .

Hello, it looks like my own fault. I ripped of a few components, apparently resistores, with tweezers... Im an idiot. This is a relatively new laptop, so I must wait a time for some malfuncted motherboard to solve this problem. I have no schema.
I have an old tweezers with a very strong spring, which does not hold in a place... I must buy a new one.

Many thanks for your great help.
The damage, I made, is fixed now.
I have confirmed, that the "ripped of" resistor is a "jumper" with zero resistance.
It is replaced by "wire jumper".
Your BIOS seems to be the right one.

Hello please, all working, including touchpad underlit. There is one ecxception - keyboard undelit. I upgraded BIOS to the latest version 311, used WBT with command WBT.exe -C CNFG / W DD 7C. No success. May I ask for futher help?

Keyboard backlit issue solved:
1) WBT did not work directly in Windows for me, but worked via CMD, when booted from install media
2) Used WBT.exe -C CNFG /W DD 7E

Hi i have an Asus Zenbook 14 UX425IA motherboard that switches on loads up to the windows screen then switches of automatically

its a ryzen version as I couldnt opening it in MEA,
