I never have repaired computers before. I have a few knoledges about it but very basic.

First post, not much to say other than hello and that I have a tech background going back to the early 1980s. Despite having a world class uncle science boffin inventor, electronics expert who travelled the world, developed solutions for industry, set up tech development labs in Egypt and other places, invented stuff that he could not afford to patent, so lost out to others doing so later. Despite this, his college/uni lectures, training courses and more, I am not at my uncle's level of knowledge and expertise but I can do most intermediate stuff I guess. R.I.P. uncle Donald who passed unexpectedly in September 2022.

Is there anybody here have bios bin file for Samsung laptop NP300E5Z-A0ESA. I am suspecting bios was corrupted, need to try flashing the bios chip. The problem is it has power but no display and the fan is running.

Just wanted to say hi. I’m pretty new to board repair starting to learn how to diagnose bad components and do a bit of microsoldering. I’ve been messing around with laptops, phones and tablets, mostly just trying to fix stuff for friends and family.
