Samsung UE40JU6400K led bright spots

Hi All,

whats the cause of the leds shining brighter as in the photo?

Is it where the led strip adhesive has come away from the metal back panel allowing the leds to be closer to the 'fresnel' screen and hence appear to be brighter?

The lens that filters the led lights has fallen off

oh yes, overlooked that possibility! Which is more likely as the uneven spread of bright spots.

im just working on a 48in Samsung UE48H6400AW smart tv with exactly the same issue its certainly a led fault, i have ordered from ali express as about £20.00 delivered (uk sellers had them aroung £60.00) 12 strips in my set but use the bn number thats printed on the strips. (the set i have has also got a blue tint too the image as long as all the bright spots)
