    LG 43UK6470PLC - no image

    Hi All,

I have a 43UK6470PLC that was showing no picture at all.

I got a replacement Mainboard + T-Con (combined unit) – part number EAX67872805 - as it was cheap and was hoping for a quick win. Unfortunately, no luck with that.

So, looks like an LCD issue. If I:
    • remove the Left had side LCD driver cable – No Picture
    • remove the Right had side LCD driver cable – No Picture
    • tape over Pins 3-12 Left hand side LCD driver cable – Picture with some blank lines and flickering on the left-hand side.

I'm trying to figure out exactly what pin I need to isolate but having difficultly as I think it could be more than one pin on both sides.

Anyone have a schematic or know the pinouts for the LCD on EAX67872805? Or any other tips to help isolate what one it is?

    Many Thanks. Jas

    Just an update.

Got it working by covering pin 1-6 with scotch tape.

Looks like this TV used the same mainboard and similar issue.

    Hope this helps someone.

Odd that one side did not come back when removing cable.
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

        It's true with these series.
The only noticeable difference between sides is that power supply shuts down when bad side is connected.

same tv, maybe try blocking same pins as pi3141592 did in post #2, might not work but worth a shot.

70LE660U dark cloud or black screen with sound.

                Hello Everyone,

This is my first post so I will try to be as precise as possible without making this post too long winded. Unfortunately I don't have pictures of the original problem but I included images of the TV internals.

I have a Sharp 70LE660U. The problem started a few months ago with the bottom row looking out of sync and was dark on the left side and then fading to transparent on the right side. Shortly after, a dark cloud appeared in the center of the screen. The dark cloud started small and shaded but the image was visible. It also affected the menu area....

                Hello all!

This post will mostly just act as documentation for my undertaken troubleshooting steps for this TV. Advice will also be appreciated for things to try next

Picked up the TV in thread title from a retail returns auction, symptoms were as described. I started my troubleshooting attempts by shorting the 19V PSU rail to the 3v rail with my multimeter... Doh. Big spark, dead PSU, TV not turning on anymore. Picked up a new mainboard and PSU locally from someone here in Sydney, wasn't sure if my butterfingers had killed both and was a big drive to pick them...

Toshiba TV bad panel half screen dark - pull tabs or not?
                by ashyt16
Hi fellas, I have a Toshiba 50u6863db (vestel crap) here belonging to a family member.
The TV was given me to repair (possibly) as it had developed a blank screen, just back lights and sound.

Upon further investigation it turned out one of her cats had sprayed on the screen as I could see it on the edge of the panel and tabs and it stank. Looks like it probably shorted the circuitry. I cleaned it up and still the same.

I initially suspected Tcon board as none of the test points were showing correct voltages. Tried removing one LVDS cable at a time, same result....

                LED DRIVER KEEPS DYING
                by osrex
Hello, this is my first post and im just a beginner, so be easy on me guy. thanks

i have a LED chandeilier that switches colors from white to cool white to warm when toggling the switch, it has 24 LED arms, each arm is 30 CM length.

i have no datasheet at all for the LED lights, all i have is its length.

long story short, testing the chandelier on the ground, and it works fine for 1 - 2 - 6 hours, no problem.

as soon as i fix the chandelier to the ceiling and bury the driver inside the hub,...
