Hello all,

I have the titled tv which has a strange problem. No picture at all, no menus.

As soon as I plug the tv in it turns on with the normal red power flashing a few times and the backlight kicks on.

After about 15 seconds the backlight turns off and back on in about a second and this just repeats.

The power light only comes on initially when plugging in, this does not cycle.

I have taken the back off and see nothing obvious.

If I unplug the main board the backlight will stay on and not cycle.

Is this likely a bad main board?

The backlights staying on verifies the powerboard and backlights so odds are very good the mainboard is the issue, these samsungs are notorious for mainboards going flakey.
