    Vizio model# M70-C3

Hi all. I am new to TV repair and needing some direction on a TV that was gave to me. I have a Vizio TV model# M-70-C3. When I go to turn on the TV most of the time the power light comes on but slowly fade with no picture on the TV. However when the picture does come on half of the screen is good and the other half has vertical colored lines. The division is perfectly down the middle of the screen. I have the back off the TV because I replaced the TCon board, but that didn't fix my issue. I have noticed a red light on the video board. Would this be a bad video board or power board? Any suggestions?

1st thing to do is check the ribbon cable for that side of the screen. Unplug the tv first.

Is it possible to replace the ribbons on the Tcon board?

Could this be the LED board?

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
          by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

          Assuming...

Vaillant 242 Gas Water heater. Shortcut in board anc compatibility with model 282
          by edugimeno
          Hi!!
Yesterday I was installing a new Wifi thermostat for my domestic gas water heater model Vaillant 242/2-3, and accidentlly one wire from mains touched one wire from the thermostat output contacts. This shut off the heater so I finished installing the thermostat and then went out to check the heater

I found one fuse blown (T2 250V). Replaced it with another equivalent fuse and it blew right away. I measured L-N in mains input and I sometimes got 4K but sometimes, not sure why, I got 100 Ohm...
At a certain point, moving stuff around, I put all wires back in place and...

Parts ID for Vizio power board model E550i-B2 DPS-167DP-1

The short story is that I have to repair board this for someone and it has the typical standby IC failure (LD7913, Schottkey, and Z909 4.7V zener), but someone has harvested some other zeners from the same circuit <sigh> before I got it. Everything else is there.

I know this is a long shot, but has anyone ever documented the zener values in locations Z900, 902, 904, and 907? I assume there's no schematic of this board?

          Thanks.

          Gidday from Downunder,
Chasing the Schematics and also the board view for the HP Laptop board, model according to the board markings that is read sideways against the the side frame to the graphics card or the DDR4 slot it says the following for the Model,
          “MODEL:OPAK”
Then assuming the card was still inserted into the slot, releasing the card and removing it will reveal the full markings printed on the board (not the card),
          “DAOPAKMB6FO REV:F”
Below in smaller print is a small logo of I think a backwards R with the letter U with the left stroke of the...

Hello, i am working on Vizio M70-C3. It can hardly power on, it takes 15 power button presses or remote. Seems like eeprom problem that I seen before but all reading online says that this tv has power board or main board problem.
