    Panasonic tx55c320e no display

    hello guys,

    i have a panasonic tx55c320e to repair.
sudenly screen became black with sound OK (description by the owner)

the tv seems start normaly, backlight is OK, sound is OK but no display.

so i checked t-con board. after the tv start one chip become very hot. with board panel unplugged : no hot.
so i have suspected one of the board panel to be dead.
the right one seems ok, no hot stuff when this one is plugged alone.

the tcon becomes hot when left one is plugged.

so i checked left board panel. one cap on the last section (near border of tv) was shorted. so i remove.

the tv start with picture after that but with vertical lines (multicolor) at the left of the screen (corresponding with the line shorted before)

after a while, the display gone blacj again with white vertical stripes. each mesures closely 20cm.

so i think panel is dead. definitively dead .

are you agree with that ?

    thx

      hello
no i have just removed it.
i'm more aknowledge about phoneboard repair or laptop (except some crapy ones lol)
on phone it is not very important that caps are removed, but maybe in this case the cap stabilises the voltage.
can you tell me that please ?
so if it is essential what kind of caps have i to use ?
      thx

I f you can find one the same physical size and put in there, see if it clears up, no others were shorted correct?

no others shorted, resistance to ground in diode mode is 472, max 491 in big caps.
          i've got 16V, 0.9V 1.8V on other caps
          and 8V on resistors
(approximative values, but all homogenous on left and right board panel)
