I have been given a Samsung UE46D6530 TV to have a look at.
If I press standby, power-board relay clicks, power led flashes then it switches off and attempts to power on again over and over (relay clicking)
No backlight, no picture, no sound..
If I unplug the 20 pin power cable to the main board back light works.
Voltages on the connector are as follows:
Pin 1 = 5.24v - od level
pin 2 = 3.045v - p_dim4
pin 3 = 5.06v - Od on/off
pin 4 = 3.048v - P_dim3
pin 5 = gnd
pin 6 = 3.048v - p_dim2
pin 7 = 12.76v - B13V
pin 8 = 3.048v - P_dim1
pin 9 = 12.76v - B13V
pin 10 = 12.76v - B13v
pin 11 = 12.76v - vamp
pin 12 = 4.71v - blu on/off
pin 13 = 12.76v - vamp
pin 14 = gnd
pin 15 = gnd
pin 16 = gnd
pin 17 = 5.36v - b5v
pin 18 = 5.36v -a5v
pin 19 = 5.36v -b5v
pin 20 = 3.35v power/ on off
Pin 20, when probed with the test meter turns the power supply on.
Unplugging the T-con board makes no change.
Any ideas where I could be looking, I'm thinking main board but wonder if there's anything else I can try first ?
P.s. This tv was repaired some years back, and possible a different model mainboard was used as I can't seem to match it to any other relevant UE46D6530... I could be wrong, so don' quote me on that
Photo's attached, thanks for looking..
