Samsung UA32H5100AK 32" FHD TV panel or tcon fault?

Hi guys. Sorry if this issue has been addressed in a previous thread.

Two weeks ago, my TV (which I use as a 2nd monitor for my PC) started displaying some weird lines.

Basically it's black horizontal lines that makes it look interlaced and some green lines. Check the pics for more info. It seems to also be related to temperature, because if the TV has been off for a while and I switch it on, there's no problem, but eventually it goes bad. Regardless of input and even on the OSD it shows up.

I did some research to see if I could diagnose it and thought it could be the tcon board, but a seller of tcon boards on Ebay mentioned in the description of a tcon board that horizontal lines are almost never caused by the tcon board. Now I am not sure if it is the panel or tcon.

Considering the price of a 27" monitor, I don't want to spend too much trying to repair it. So I am wondering if the community here can help diagnose the issue and give me some advise on whether it is worth repairing?

Samsung QN75Q6FNA backlight no display, red LED blink 2x, fault in panel

    • Prior owner tried a replacement main board. No difference.
    • Samsung 2x red blinking standby LED = panel fault
    • Jumpered FB_TRDY_1 (pin 1 CN1300 left. main tcon->left side buffer boards) and FB_TRDY_3 (pin 95 CN1301 right. main tcon->right side buffer boards) This allows testing individual T-Con (on main board) connection to panel on this Samsung. Found fault on left side (viewing from rear of TV)
    • Each side has 2 buffer boards, disconnected left side flex between 2 buffer boards. Fault is on the left most board.
    • Tape masking eventually isolated to CN1300 pin 15 (CKV4_GOA) Display

Samsung 55" UN55JS9000 - Pink vertical lines due to chipped LCD panel?
    by Anonmis
Hello all, I was recently repairing my Samsung 55" UN55JS9000 tv from the common burnt backlight LED's and cracked light guide panel issue. After replacing the LED's and putting the TV back together, I tested the tv and all I was getting was sound but no image. Somewhere along the way (could be related to the next issue) the T-Con board became damaged and after replacing it I have made a little bit of progress but now have bright pink vertical lines and still no image.

The bigger issue .... I took the TV apart again and realized that I likely didn't sit the LCD panel correctly...

Driving a Sharp TCON/panel with a universal main board
    by advant
This thread is about trying to get an Universal Main Board to work with a Sharp TCON and panel.

I have a Sharp LC-46D85UN TV that has had a main board issue. Since this model is from 2009, I am not able to find an exact replacement of the main board. Instead, I decided to see if I can future proof this tv by getting a Universal Main Board (T53U21.2) from China to work with the Sharp TCON (CPWBX4291TPZA) and panel. The universal main board supports a 8 bit dual channel LVDS interface whereas the TCON requires a 10 bit dual channel LVDS input. I have modded the LVDS connector to match...

TCL 55S425 few horizontal lines, potential failure on both side of panel/buffer board
    by howardc64
All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
    • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
    • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault
