Samsung UE75MU6100 Line on display

Hi
I picked this up as dead and established that the mainboard was faulty which I replaced and this returned it to full working order.
Having finally got it up on the wall last week it has now developed a thin red line on the left side of the display which extends mostly to the bottom but gets fainter before practically disappearing.
The line is showing on all sources.
Moving it is not easy so any ideas would be appreciated. I've not encountered a line that isn't solid from top to bottom before.

Try cleaning the tcon ribbons contacts where they plug into the tcon with ISA alcohol or a pencil eraser carefully, they can be delicate and make sure you have a good clean contact where lvds cable plugs into tcon. Sometimes just reseating those connections will fix it, usually the little clips just flip up with a finger nail and the lvds you squeeze the little release tabs on the ends, they come off easily when you unhook them, never force anything.
