TV with a HDMI input which only supports DVI

Today, I saw a Samsung TV with four HDMI inputs; one of which only supports DVI (no digital audio).
I though all HDMI inputs on a TV supported HDMI (with digital audio) .
Have you ever seen such a set which only supports DVI (no audio) on a HDMI input?

Maybe the DVI was for it to be used as a computer monitor no audio needed there.
Elements of the past and the future combining to make something not quite as good as either.

There are video cards which support audio through HDMI.
