I wanted to ask you a question about mainboard swap of my old Samsung TV, the mainboard seems to be broken, the backlight of the TV works fine if you plug it in without mainboard.
when I plug the mainboard in, the PSU immediately turns off the power, PSU seems to be OK.
Now I was wondering if it's possible to change the Mainboard to a newer, better one from a Smart TV.
The last TVs with almost the same case were the UE40F64XX Series.
Now my Problem is that the UE40F6400 has the same PSU and T-CON Board as far as I found out, but those doen't have a Satilite Input which is the main reason for me to swap the board with another one.
The UE40F6470 has Satelite Input, but it looks like that one has the same PSU but another T-CON Board. Even F6500 up to F6800 have the same t-con, why do all the models with Satelite Input do have another t-con?
Will it work to just keep the t-con of my F6100 and use a Mainboard of an F6470 Series, even if it‘s different?
It's a Samsung Ue40f6100AW 3D Television.
The PSU is L42X1QDHS, BN44-00622B, Rev 1.2 I also have a Rev 1.1 at home.
The Sticker on the Maiboard says BN94-07047S F099(P09)
And the T-con is a BN41-01939C.
