LG 47GA6400 Google TV Tuner Issue

Hey Guys,

Maybe someone else here is familiar with these line of LG Google TVs but when it comes to the tuner, you cannot do a simple scan. The set uses your zip code to look for "local lineups" for your area before the tuner does a scan. The problem is the TV cannot find "lineups" for my area. I've reset the TV, installed the latest updates, verified that my wifi is connected and functional but the set still cannot find the "lineups" for my area. I've researched on Google and apparently I'm not the only one with this problem. I can't complain as other than the tuner issue the set works fine and I got it for free!

well it seem the Factory setting via setting menu UI had conflict with tuner module.we dont have this set here, but i can tell what i know on LG may it help.

i posted here apps which work on android devices which it had IR blaster like Galaxy S5. Smart IR Remote.apk. id you set it on, you can use it for 3 good way

1- if you click IN STOP, it will clean eeprom and bring the TV to Factory condition ( better than factory setting at menu )
2- when you press IN START you can see if the tuner module listed correctly
3- within click on EZ Adjust will bring to you all info on the set, when it appear you press setting on RC it will pup up USB Clone , export all setting to USB and post it over here...

in fact if you had export this USB clone after any factory reset can easy import them via same menu.
