Yes i agree budm but unfortunately it is either very difficult or to costly to replace with new boards so we have no alternative but to take a chance on used parts.
But well pleased with the info from megaraider i would never have known about swapping that ic ?

nice fix ron in post 85 i did mention about a eeprom on the tcon but did not think about trying it on your replacement 46in board it makes sense now as it would store the panel details etc, it certainly looks a nice picture now though and hope your hospital treatment goes well ron take care.
