samsung ln32c450e1d light blinks 5 times when turned on

Just wanted to mention this about this model that everyone seems to be having trouble with. I read all the threads and did all the checks with no luck. My set was acting a little different. It would come on and work good until you turned set off then when you tried to turn on again it would blink 5 times and then it would not come on until you unplug set for few minutes and then it would come on again. All voltages checked ok except backlight and dim when I tried to turn on again. after I tried everything I read on threads and was about to give up I decided to try factory re-set for Samsung tv and it worked and it comes on every time and has been every since. I hope this info. will help someone down the road. I know it sounds too simple but heck I always try simple things last. Hope this helps.

Samsung UN60F8000BFXZA ~ No Picture or Sound - 5 Res Light Blinks
    by kca
    Hello all ~

I’m working on this Samsung 60” LED and purchased a new main board a couple of days ago that did not fix the 5 blink issue. The original main board’s HDMI ports (all 4 of them) failed to work and no amount of reflow remedied that.

This 5 red light blink code on the front panel LED is followed (about 15-20 seconds afterward) by an automatic reboot, and results in 5 more red light blinks. Then the entire cycle repeats itself indefinitely.

    No picture. No sound.

I tested all the voltages coming out of the power supply...

Samsung UN70NU6900FXZA - Red Light Blinks 2 Times Then Screen Flickers
    by Samunggg
I've happened upon this TV, it came with no power cord or remote and it seems to be experiencing a common issue where the red indicator light blinks 2 times then the screen flickers as if it's trying to turn on. No picture, no sound. I suspect the functions of the TV are in good order and that the underlying issue is with the power button which is missing. It's just a white tab where the button should be which means I can't cycle it.

I wanted to know if there is anything I can do or if I should just get a replacement module with the hopes it will fix the system. Alternatively if...

Samsung DM32D – Red LED blinks 5 times, won’t start (possible mainboard issue)
    by Nairolf
    Hello,

    I have a Samsung DM32D display.
When I try to power it on, the red LED blinks 5 times and nothing happens—the unit won’t start.

Here’s what I have tried so far:
    1. Disconnected the cable between the mainboard and the power supply → the backlight turns on.
    2. Disconnected the main T-CON ribbon cable → same issue as before, the LED still blinks 5 times.
    3. Disconnected one of the two T-CON ribbons to the panel (tested each one separately) → same issue, the LED blinks 5 times.

From these tests, I suspect the problem might be on the mainboard. Could anyone...
