A lot of the plasma power supplies require a load on the Vs. Oh well onward and upward... So it looks like you are not getting the VS_ON from the control board. Do you have any led's lit on the control board?

Yes there is an LED that lights up solid on the logic board. And I ordered a new one yesterday after not getting VS_ON since it was only around $20 just to eliminate that. Anything else to check before it arrives? There is no obvious short on the VS line.

Is it possible the logic board is the fault?

The green LED should be flashing indication a healthy supply and all is good with the Logic Bd. A steady lED means there is a problem with the Logic Bd

So I was wrong after plugging everything back in and doing the logic board forced operation, the LED on the logic board is flashing, not solid. I'm still waiting for the new logic board to try it anyway.

Do we know if TV will operate with buffer boards removed and/or ribbons to the panel?

You should have no problem removing the buffers for a test, see if Vs comes up with them disconnected

That did not help, nor did I find anything shorted or open on the Y-Main, I'm hoping it's just the logic board not turning on VS.

New logic board fixed TV.

FYI On this working logic board, flashing green LEDs on both left and right sides. The old board was just one flashing green LED in the center.

HOORAY!!!...Glad you got it going. If I remember correctly you suspected that the Logic Bd. was the problem.
