Absolutely. Agreed. I'm hoping that once I find these, I could still have a loose connection somewhere before I have to resort to the final nail in the coffin.Comment

It's been quite a while, but I've had some more time to work on this TV. And I just wanted to come back on here to report my results. I successfully cut off the side-tabs on the bad side of the picture. And it was a success!
